Vertical Horizon

Vertical Horizon was founded in the early 1990s, but it was seven years before lead singer Matt Scannell’s songs became the radio hits that brought the popular grass roots band to national attention. Vertical Horizon released three albums independently (There and Back Again, Running on Ice, and Live Stages) and toured extensively before signing with RCA Records in 1998. In 1999, they released their breakout album, Everything You Want, which went on to sell more than two million copies. The second single off the CD, the title track “Everything You Want,” captured the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 and Adult Top 40 charts, and became Billboard’s Most Played Single of 2000. Having carved out a page in the annals of music history the band garnered further radio attention with “You’re a God” (#4 on Billboard’s Adult Chart) and “Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning).” In 2005, “Best I Ever Had” became a top 20 country hit for country star Gary Allan.

Filter

Shoving a fist in the face of tradition has been Filter's modus operandi since the release of their self-produced debut album, Short Bus. Patrick, Filter's magnetic, profoundly intelligent nucleus and frontman jubilantly admits that his creative process is unorthodox, whether he's staring down and conquering new technology or coalescing with new bandmate and co-conspirator Jonny Radtke on Filter's current release, The Sun Comes Out Tonight.

Given those accolades, when they disbanded in 1989, they never left the hearts and minds of millions of fans around the globe. Simply put, a reunion was both inevitable and essential.

Saving Abel

In the years following its initial formation in 2004, Saving Abel has seen some changes. When former vocalist Jared Weeks made the decision to pursue a solo project last December, vocalist Scotty Austin was asked to step in after his former band opened for Saving Abel. “My band opened for Saving Abel and the next day the manager called and said ‘You’re our new lead singer!’ Of course I said what anyone else would say… ‘Who is this??,” laughed Austin about his initial disbelief at the offer. “Jared had wanted to do a solo project and the guys weren’t done rocking. We’ve been on tour ever since. It’s been a whirlwind!” Lead vocalist Scotty Austin, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Jason Null; rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Scott Bartlett; bassist and backing vocalist Eric Taylor, and drummer Steven Pulley make up the Saving Abel fans know today.
